The Australian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) is the peak Australian body representing managers and lawyers within a legal practice management role. ALPMA provides an authoritative voice on issues relevant to legal practice management. The association provides members with an opportunity to share knowledge and resources in the rapidly growing area of professional law firm management, augmenting the existing strengths of state bodies and maximising the future potential of this growing area of management.

The Australian Medical Association (NSW) Limited is an independent association representing the state's medical profession. As the state's peak medico-political lobbying body, the AMA (NSW) is dedicated to providing its members with representation on a variety of medical issues, professional services and commercial benefits.



Australian Veterinary Business Association (AVBA)

The Australian Veterinary Business Association is a not for profit organisation. It is managed by an enthusiastic group of veterinarians, practice managers and other business people from various sectors of the veterinary world. Based in different parts of Australia they generously donate their time to assist their colleagues in boosting the profitability of their enterprises whilst lifting the profile of the veterinary industry in the community. They offer a vibrant, new and alternative knowledge centre for anyone searching for management skills in today's challenging veterinary business environment.



Australian Veterinary Association (AVA)

The Australian Veterinary Association is the professional organisation that represents veterinarians across Australia.
The AVA is made up of many groups. The national office is located in Sydney, and there are divisions in each state and territory around the country. Some of the larger states also have local branches. There are also more than 20 special interest groups within the association, which cater for members with particular expertise or interest in aspects of veterinary science. 


 

Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA)

The Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia offers support and direction for Veterinary Nurses and sets and maintains standards for excellence in animal care through quality education. The VNCA represents Australian Veterinary Nurses and encourages pride and professionalism. In particular, it:

  • Provides a nationwide network for Veterinary Nurses to share knowledge, skills and problem solving strategies
  • Liaises on a national level with affiliated associations, government departments and educationalists
  • Keeps members in touch with leading edge medical and practical information through access to continuing education at national and state levels
  • Offers strength in numbers, providing a national voice to help protect and promote the Veterinary Nursing profession

NSW Rural Doctors Network

NSW RDN

The NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation and the dedicated Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) for New South Wales. RDN recruits and supports GPs in rural and remote communities through a range of programs and services that improve the recruitment and retention of the health workforce throughout rural NSW.
